Exhibition Pharaoh
The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is proud to present its Melbourne Winter Masterpieces® exhibition for 2024: Pharaoh. This landmark exhibition takes visitors on a journey through 3,000 years of ancient Egyptian art, design, and culture.
Pharaoh Artefacts
Pharaoh features over 500 objects, including monumental sculptures, architectural elements, temple statuary, exquisite jewellery, papyri, coffins, and a rich array of funerary objects. Through these artefacts, the exhibition explores the fascinating lives of the pharaohs, Egypt's powerful rulers, who were believed to have divine origins.
